PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Our customer was mandated to equip a 1 million square foot warehouse with automation solutions to make it an intelligent warehouse. To achieve this, various types of conveyors and a robotized palletizer containing over 60,000 bins were installed.

TEKNEMA’s mandate was to:

• Coordinate all site activities
• Supervise the site, where more than 80 employees worked, including automation specialists, electricians, steel erectors, industrial mechanics and plumbers.

In addition to ensuring the availability of manpower as required, TEKNEMA monitored and managed the various deliveries from several parts of the world. TEKNEMA also ensured that the inventory was properly kept, that the quality of the work was maintained, and that budgets and schedules were respected, as well as applicable health, safety and environmental standards.

The work was carried out in coordination with the end-user’s activities.
